Dear Parents,
Here is a quick recap of what we covered in this week's Ramayana class.
Topics Reviewed:
-
Yajña Samrakshana: Rama and Lakshmana's protection of Sage Vishvamitra's Yagna and the values of courage and duty it highlights.
-
Sita Kalyanam: We revisited the divine wedding of Sita and Rama. We learned the story of how and why the event unfolded that way; briefly discussed how marriage customs have changed over generations by asking students how old their grandparents were when they got married.
-
Parasurama Garva Apaharanam: We discussed how Sri Rama humbles Lord Parasurama with grace and humility following the wedding, emphasizing the importance of dharma and inner strength.
As always, kindly encourage the children to review the weekly content before each class. The material shared in the weekly email is the same content posted on the blog for that week, and reading it beforehand gives helpful context for our discussions. We will have a group quiz in the next class on the context discussed so far.
Thank you for your continued support!
Warm regards,
Rahul and Keerthi
