Oct 12, 2025 - Grade 4 (Sunday AM)

Hari Om Parents,

Welcome to our Grade 4 class, Today is the fifth class. We all met in  our classroom -- "Murari" and after all the kids came to the class.

We started the class by sitting criss cross and  chanted 3 Oms, and then we chanted

The Opening Prayers:  3 Oms, then Sahana Vavatu, Ganesha Slokha -Vakra Tunda, Saraswathi Slokha- Saraswathi Namasthubayam, Guru Slokha - Guru Brahma.

Krishna Ashtakam :  This year we will be learning sloka Krishna Ashtakam.
We together chanted Krishna Ashtakam 2 times and it's in Page 109 of the My Prayers book.
Every class we will be learning it together.

BalaBhagvatham :  The story of King Parishit and his curse was shared. And the king decided to spend his last seven days on earth in a spiritual way and  started listening to Srimad Bhagvatham and we will be learning the same as Bala Bhagavatam which is all about Sri Krishna's balyam and his Leelas.

Likitha japa - Kids were given their Likitha japa books today and kids with a lot of interest and focus started their Likitha japa while Rama nama was playing in the background, and it's a good co-incidence as kids did Saraswathi pooja today.

Bhagvad Geeta Gītā Chanting Yajna telecast  Bhagavad Gītā - Chapter 15 - Puruṣottama yogaḥ -Yoga of The Supreme Spirit,  Verses 7, 8  we all chanted together.

Please make kids practice at home. All are required to learn chanting - Chapter 15 comprising a total of 20 verses in preparation for the Samashti Gita Chanting in May 2026. Handbooks have all the verses from Bhagvad Geeta Ch 15 and Ch12.

Then we all went to the prayer hall  for Aarthi and Pledge.

Today was a short class, due to Saraswathi pooja in the main prayer hall.
Kids nicely did Saraswathi pooja and actively participated in Sloka chanting and did Likitha japa.
