Welcome kids, parents to our 25-26 Bala Vihar!
We will be following the kindergarten text Alphabet Safari, which introduces kids the values such as Aspiration, Brotherhood, Cleanliness, Enthusiasm, Friendship, Japa, etc…
We will learn opening and closing prayers, Ganesha, Krishna, Rama, Vishnu prayers. We will teach kids bhajans such as Hai Murali Shridhara…
We will plan activities, crafts, and games to keep kids engaged.
In our first class, we started our class with Om and our opening prayer- Om Saha Navavatu. Kids introduced themselves and told us their favorite game and fruit. We went over rules for the class- listening, sitting still. We played Krishna says (like Simon says) and freeze dance with our bhajan. We practiced Likhita Japa and had kids write Om.
We would appreciate it if you could have each child bring their bag, folder, notebook, pencils, and crayons to class.
Anu ji has started a what's app group for us to communicate directly.
