Continuing with the next line in the pledge
We Seek the Lord's Grace, to keep on the path of Virtue, Courage and Wisdom
Grace:-
What does grace mean?
Is God fair to all and everyone? Does he shower his blessings to us if we are bad or good?
Does Sun Rays come to one and all- yes. What happens if we close our curtains or blinds when sun rays come in- it does not come
In this way the same god showers grace and blessing to all if we are not ready to accept with open mind and heart. it is not god’s fault if we close our eyes and mind.
Little ones are smart, quick in learning and more receptive than elders, a child is a teacher!
Courage:-
What is courage? Courage is being fearless, facing them and doing the right thing even if it is hard. Telling the truth and doing our best when we can’t do well. Telling mom and dad when we make a mistake.
Courage also participating and going up on stage and performing in front of everyone.
Wisdom:-
Wisdom is knowing what is right and what is wrong.
Who gives us courage and wisdom- God’s grace gives us Courage and also wisdom.
Story of Prahalad:-
We watched the story of Prahalad- who was a very young boy and his father Hiranyakashyapu was a demon and was very wicked and cruel. He used to trouble anyone who was a Vishnu devotee. He got a boon from Lord Brahma that he could neither be defeated inside the home nor outside, neither in day nor night , neither by any man, animal or bird or creature created by Brahma nor with any weapon or asthras.
While on other hand Prahalad was a great devotee of Vishnu and was always chanting Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudeva ya namah.
Seeing this Hiranyakashyapu was very angry and tried to get his own son killed, by throwing from cliff, throwing in fire, getting him stomped by elephants and throwing him in pit of snakes.
When hirayankashapu asked where was Vishnu , Prahalad said he was everywhere and he showed a pillar and asked if he was there, Prahalad said yes and when he banged the pillar Vishnu came as Lord Narasimha and killed Hiranyankashapu.
Story of Dhruva where he showed courage and was a wise child. He did the tough penance and had the darshan of Lord mahavishnu.

May thy grace and Blessings flow through us to the world around us.
We took an example of stick and recorder (Flute)- kids tried to blow on the wooden stick? Does air go through it? No it does not. Why does it not flow from one end to another? It doesn't have an opening.
When we asked, would air come out when blown through flute? Yes it does.
So what did we learn? It needs to have an opening so that air flows through it.
Same way we should be like the flute in Krishna's hands so that these blessings will flow from us to everyone around us.
We did a quick review of J for Japa and Joy
Please make the children practice as Chapter 15 for our global chanting on May 9th 2026. Please register for the Global Chanting if not done already and also share with your friends and family.
We did a great job with Likhita japa and Bhajans and earned sticker rewards.

It was time for our Assembly and pledge and we went to our prayer hall, where we first chanted geeta chapter 15.
Next balavihar class is Sunday 05/03/2026 and the kids can be dropped off in the class directly before 9.15 am.
