Hari Om Parents,
IT IS M FOR MOTHER. Mother is the greatest embodiment of love. A person can show disrespect to any person even to the Lord Himself. But he cannot disrespect his own mother. She is the giver of birth to a person. A mother will be ready to sacrifice anything for her child. Even her own life. Her nature itself is love embodied. She cannot show hatred towards her child. How much ever grown a man or girl is, for a mother, that man or girl is still a little kid. Even a monster like being cannot hate his or her own mother. The man or a girl who is showing disrespect to a mother cannot go higher but rather he will fall into the worst of hells. For all other sins committed there maybe remedies through which we can come out. But for a person who does not take care of his or her mother and also those who disrespect their mothers, will go to the worst of hells forever.
The Lord cannot be bound to anything. But that all pervading Lord Himself is bound to a mother's love. Without the permission of a mother, a person cannot even become a sannyasin. The best example for this is Adi Sankara. Only after getting permission from his mother, Aryambal, and convincing her did Adi Sankara undertook sannyasin. He even composed a great hymn called MATHRU PANCHAKAM describing the love of a mother.
Mother is such a great being. Whenever a person is feeling fatigued, a mother's love will automatically calm him or her down. Let us take great care of our mothers.
