Hari Om,
We started our class with chanting OM & Sahana Vavatu. We did a quick Pre cap of our past classes. We covered chapters 14 & 15.
Chapter 14:
We did learn in this chapter how Bharata reached to see Rama.
Rama, Sita and Lakshman heard the news for his Fathers Death. they all were sad and prayed for his soul.
How nicely Rama explains to Bharath that we all should follow our Dharma. you go back and take care of Ayodhya. Bhartha takes Rama sandal "Paduka" and places them on the throne till Rama comes back., meanwhile he rules the kingdom.
Rama keeps going through the forest. visits many diffrent ashrams, meets all different Rishis helps them in thier sadhna. he defeats monsters like Viradha, who had a boon that they will never be killed . Sita doesn't like the violence but Rama explains that this is his duty as a Kshtriya to help a;lthe Rishis. While he leaves from one ashram to other all the Rishis give his Powers to him so he can keep doing the good things.
Chapter 15:
This chapter talk about Sage Agastya. his bravery, powerfulness and his vedic energy.
Rama had spent almost 10 years in the forest. He was very eager to see Sage Agastya as he had heard a lot about his power. While they approach his ashram, Lakshman goes and informs about Rama arrival. Rishi is also very happy to welcome them.
Once Vindhya Mountains were getting bigger and stopping the Sun to pass from North to western side of Mountain. So Lord shiva requested Rishi Agastya to take care of this while all the Devas were at Kailash to Attend his wedding. Rishi took care of mountain and by standing in front of them and so now the Vindhya mountain understood their fault. Rishi was that much of powerful.
there were 2 monsters creating trouble in a village where he lived, so wanted to teach them a lesson. their names were Vatapi and Ilvala. they had a boon from Lord Brahma that even if they were killed, chopped they could revive. Both were using them to create trouble . They would invite Brahmin and Risi for lunch and offer meat to eat. once they finish eating ilvala would say vatapi come out. So he would be living again. They did try this trick on Sage Agastya but instead they both got burned to ashes because of his power.
Rama, Sita , Lakshman had nice conversation with Sage Agastya, he said to Rama sita will like to live in Panchvati so please now spent rest of your time their. They took his Blessings and proceeded towards Panchvati.

Assignment:
- Continue with coloring for homework and spend some time writing Likhita Japa.
- We have asked kids to ask and talk / discuss about Your Dharma at home with parents.
- kids will be telling us about all the Demons that we have learned till now.
Yoga:
We did few yoga poses like animals in the Dandaka Forest like cobra, tree, mountain, monkey. Kids had a lot of fun doing these activities.
Gita Chanting- Chapter 15:
