Navaratri Talk
We spoke about Navratri and how the festival is celebrated in different parts of India. Discussed about Garba, Golu and Durga Puja. Also, the 10th day celebrations are both Dusshera and Vijayadashami.

My Teachers
Activity:
The children completed the My Earth activity sheets by adding the lessons that we learned from Mother Earth.

We also discussed the next teacher 'Wind' and how the wind teaches us qualities of balance and equality . Also the wind flows everywhere but doesn't get attached to one place, person or thing nor does it lose sight of its main goal.

We asked children to make an activity list that will list all the goals they wish to accomplish in their lives. It could be as simple as wanting to go to Disneyland to something more complex like inventing something for mankind to use. Children spent some time doing that and again the list included everything from wanting parents to be immortal to becoming a billionaire.

We wrapped up the class with Aarti in the prayer hall.

Next Week

We will have our class and students will get to do Saraswati Puja in the prayer hall, requesting kids to be in Indian outfits.
