We recapped what was learnt in the last class.
Letter 'A' – is for Aspiration- What and how focused Arjuna was and to achieve what we want to do is Aspiration.
Letter 'B'- is for Brotherhood. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is a Sanskrit phrase that means "The world is one family".
Letter 'C- is for cleanliness.
We asked what cleanliness is, how we keep ourselves clean and why we should clean up.
Our little enthusiastic kids remembered and told us all the ways to clean ourselves i.e. by washing our face, brushing our teeth, and wearing clean clothes. To keep the mind clean we do prayers.
We continued to learn further.
Letter 'D' – is for Daddy-
We asked children what dad means to them and what all do the dads do for them.
We got some cute answers on what and how loving the dads were, Some said they played with them, cooked their favorite food. They buy them things/Toys, take them to their games.
In the same way we mentioned that Bhagwan/ God is like our father; he takes care of all our needs and is kind to us. We also mentioned to kids that we treat our father as god.
Pitru devo bhava - that means "consider your father as God.
We asked kids when they are going to Halloween or any party how they feel. They said they would be excited. What would one do while playing a basketball game or soccer? How do the audience react, they said excitement. The word which we were looking for was a tough one for our kindergartners.
We handed out papers to kids. We asked them to interview their dads. Please help them with this activity and send them back to the next class.
Letter ' E' – is for Enthusiasm- Enthusiasm means to do with eagerness.
We played a game of Bowling. All children got turns to throw the bowling ball to make sure they hit the PINS, few were able to focus and get a couple PINS down.
We divided into two groups and asked the kids to sort colored marbles. They did the job wonderfully and their excitement was in heights due to which it was little challenge to bring their energies down.
We finally concluded that with focused enthusiasm we can achieve what we aspire for to become in life. We have given children cutouts for coloring. Please make sure to put them in a folder post coloring. Coloring activity helps the children to focus hence we always make them do the coloring activity.
It was time for our Gita Chanting and we learnt chapter 15th 1,2,3,4 . We were happy that kids were able to remember 1 and 2 a little bit. Kindly make the kids practice the gita verses along with bhajan and prayers we are teaching. It was time for Aarthi and pledge hence we went to our Prayer hall.
NOTE:- The curriculum for Kindergarten is Alphabet Safari, Please purchase the book from book store, kindly collect the handbook as well since we will be learning Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15 (1-20 shlokas) and Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 (1-20 shlokas) is available in the 2025-26 year handbook.
Few important notes and points.
1. We request everyone to make sure children are present in the class a few mins before 7pm.
2. Please send a folder to class to keep the handed out items.
3. Please send crayons, pencils, and erasers in a box.
4. Make sure children use the bathroom before coming to class so that we don't take bathroom breaks unless there is an emergency.
5. Please join what's app group and communicate with teachers in case your child is unable to come to class.
6. Kindly check our messages and emails which are being shared so that important information is not missed out.
7. Book for Likhitha jaapa.
8. Two sharpened Pencils.

10. Folder to keep the papers and coloring stuff.
