Hari om Parents
We started the class with an opening prayer and recapped the previous class content.
We continued with the King Parikshith story. One day, when the king was hunting, he lost his way and entered deep into the forest.
He became tired, hungry, and thirsty. When we are clouded with pain, we do not act normally; it impacts us.
Similarly, the king did a bad thing at Rishi Shamika's ashram.
Ask children what the king did? Hanging a dead snake on Rishi's neck
Why did the king do this act? He got carried away by thirst and hunger.
What happened to the king? Was cursed by Rishi's son to die in 7 days.
What did the king do after? He did not panic or get upset. Because he is basically a good person. The king realized his mistake and gave away all his possessions and walked into the forest to immerse himself in Bhagavan's name.
Ask kids about the concept of 'what goes around comes back.' We discussed this at length in class. Life is like a mirror. It exactly reflects what we do.
One can't fix a wrong by committing another wrong. Ask about Rishi's son's behavior.
Kids were asked to practice this at school and at home. Being more conscious about what they say or do when they are upset.
We ended the class by playing a mirror game.
Kids performed Saraswathi pooja at the ashram. They all enjoyed.
Wish you all a very Happy and prosperous Diwali.
With Guru's Blessings
