Week 1 Update
With Pujya Gurudev's Grace and Swamiji's Blessings, we started Bala Vihar today.
Shlokas
Om chanting, Sahana Vavatu, Vakratunda Mahakaya, Saraswati Namastubhyam, Guru Brahma. The class learned Mrityunjaya Stotram.
After attendance the children introduced themselves and shared a few things about what they liked. They also spoke about their favorite God / Goddess.
We then introduced the topics we will be covering this year, the Krishna Lila stories and My 24 Teachers. We spoke about Chinmaya Mission's 75 years or Amrith Mahotsav.
Then the children took turns with the Bhagavatam recap. They remembered almost all the stories from Grade 3.
The parents came to visit the class and we shared all the curriculum details with them. We then wrapped up the class to go to the prayer hall for Aarti and Pledge recitation.
