Class 1: 9/5/25
We started class with invocatory prayer and reciting shlokas on Ganpati, Saraswati and guru.
Learnt : the Hanuman Dhyana Shloka (Budhir, Balam)
Played a memory Game for the teachers and students to remember names.
Introduction of teachers and students
Children shared the name of their favorite god (Ishta Devata) : they have their favorites, ask your children who that is.
Goal of the class was to sit up straight with the Back straight, and discussion of the Hanuman Dhyana Shloka (Budhir, Balam ..were represented on the back bone). We will be doing a project with this during the year .
The children were then encouraged to share one of their favorite quality of Hanuman
What we need for class
1. Every child should have a My Prayer Book
2. Children to use the bathroom before coming to class and please let them know that using the BR should be limited
3. Please have them carry a water bottle so they don't leave the class
4. Encourage all children to stay back for Aarthi and pledge
