Welcome to our Grade 4 class, Today is the third class. We all met in our classroom -- "Murari" and after all the kids came to the class.
We started the class by sitting criss cross and chanted 3 Oms, and then we chanted
The Opening Prayers: 3 Oms, then Sahana Vavatu, Ganesha Slokha -Vakra Tunda, Saraswathi Slokha- Saraswathi Namasthubayam, Guru Slokha - Guru Brahma.
It was wonderful to see kids dressed in "Blue" and representing "Krishna's Cowboys!!"
Then we discussed the House Inaugural Activities planned for today.
Starting from the middle of the hall → walk towards the Deities doing:
1️⃣ Adi Pradakshinam (one foot in front of the other)
2️⃣ 5 Thoppu Karanam (Super Brain Yoga)
3️⃣ 3 Namaskarams
Kids practiced in class the above activities and also sang a couple of times - and practiced Krishna's Cowboys song - "Hey Murali Sridhara.."
Attendance: Attendance was taken and each kid did all of the three activities individually when their name was called to prep for the House Inaugural competition.
Bhagvad Geeta : Gītā Chanting Yajna telecast Bhagavad Gītā - Chapter 15 - Puruṣottama yogaḥ -Yoga of The Supreme Spirit, Verses 3, 4 we all chanted together.
Please make kids practice at home. All are required to learn chanting - Chapter 15 comprising a total of 20 verses in preparation for the Samashti Gita Chanting in May 2026. Handbooks have all the verses from Bhagvad Geeta Ch 15 and Ch12.
Then we all assembled in the Prayer Hall and were given an introduction of all the activities for each group.
This year's Theme is "Bhakta's of Bharat". So Kids were shown four videos of Four Saints : Mother Andal, Kannappa ji. Surdas ji, Eknath Maharaj ji.
After the initial activities Kids were provided :
1. Clues = Puzzle pieces of one of the Bhakta('s)
2. Questions were asked from Videos shared.
Then we participated in the Aarthi and Pledge.
