Here's a brief update from our class this Sunday.
The class had been preparing for this event for several weeks, but due to snow-related cancellations, we were only able to complete it now. This is one of the most eagerly awaited activities of the year for our students. Working in teams, they visit their younger buddies at Bala Vihar and, for this week, step into the role of teachers instead of students.
The student teachers were highly appreciated for their excellent preparation, enthusiasm, and ability to engage children across different age groups. Their sessions were well-planned, interactive, and meaningful, using a variety of methods like storytelling, games, quizzes, debates, slideshows, crafts, yoga, meditation, chanting, and group activities.
They ensured active participation from all students, created a warm and friendly learning environment, and made the concepts both fun and impactful. Many sessions included thoughtful discussions, creative activities, and reflective lessons that helped children connect values to real life.
Overall, the student teachers displayed great confidence, teamwork, and dedication. Their efforts made the classes enjoyable, enriching, and memorable for both students and parents, and their commitment to making a positive difference was deeply appreciated.
