Hari om,
We started our class with 3 OM chants and followed by om sahana vavatu prayer and closing prayer.
We would like you to go over them with kids . New kids are still joining us so we had an introduction session where each kid had to say their name and rest kids would say Hari om to him.her. So we know each other better.
We did start our class by Re capping so our new students can learn as well.
We did go over with our House Bhajan Amba Parmeswari. Lyrics were already shared in the Whatsapp Group.
In today's class we covered Chapter 6.
Chapter 6:
We did learn about Rishi Gautama and his Wife Ahalya. Sage Viswamitra along with Rama and Laxmana started their journey for Mithila. On the way they stopped at a beautiful Ashram called Kamasarma Ashram. We did go over the story of How ahalya was turned from a stone to the beautiful lady again by Lord Rama. She was cursed by Rishi Gautama for not listening or following his instructions. She was tricked by Lord Indra , so he was cursed too.
Moral :
We should listen and try to follow the instructions that are given to us. If we do something wrong , that's fine, admit it, say sorry and try to correct our mistake.
We did give an assignment to all kids like they will be helping parents in 1 job that parents are doing for them ; to understand the importance of Dharma and how selflessly parents do everything for their child. this assignment we couldn't ask kids as we didn't have time . we will ask in the next class.
We will be coloring Rama paduka throughout the Map through his Journey . For now we started from Ayodhya, Ganga River and Dandaka Forest.We did color the Bala ramayan Lesson 3 and 4 , Rest pages 1 2 and 3 were given for homework. All the kids wrote likhita japa .

We recited the next two verses and wrapped up the class to go to the prayer hall for House inaugural Activities..
It was very great to have your kids. We have both teachers copied this email ,if you need any help. Let's meet next, Sunday (October 05) for some more new stories and activities. No class this Sunday due to navratri.
