Sep 14, 2025 - Grade 3 (Sunday PM)

Hari om Parents,

We started the class with 3 om's and opening prayer. "Sahana Vavatu"

We asked kids where they can find God. There were multiple good answers, some are below:

At temples, in pooja, where there are good things, in each one of us and best among them, "Everywhere".

We cannot see God, but we can feel him in all the things we do. He is always watching over us and is ready to help us when we need him. But how can we see him?

When we become a great Devotee (Bhakta) and call with utmost love and sincerity he will "COME DOWN".

Coming down means: AVATARA. When does God take Avatara and come down:

-When there is decline of good things, when there is increase of evil, to make good people great and to change evil people into good ones.

-We chanted Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4: verse 7 and 8.

-And when a devotee lovingly calls on him, he comes down to enjoy the love and company of the devotees.

There was 1 kid who mentioned that he heard God talking to him, when he chanted "OM". Keep up the devotion and bhakti.

Then we saw background of this year's book. BHAGAVATAM.

Ask Kids following:

Who is Veda Vyasa

-Who wrote Bhagavatam: Veda Vyasa.

-Why is his name Veda Vysas: He wrote 4 Vedas. Name the 4 vedas (Rig, Sama, Yajur and Atharvana Veda). why did he write Vedas. To provide mankind with ways of life. To teach humans how to lead a Dharmic life.

-What other books did Veda Vyasa write: Puranas, Mahabharata.

-Why was Veda Vyasa sad? Because even after writing Vedas, Puranas and Mahabharata, Veda Vyasa was still restless and not calm.

-Who told Veda Vyasa to write Bhagavatam: Narada Muni

-How did Narada Muni Calmed and explained Veda Vyasa: You have given mankind books and knowledge to lead a dharmic life. Now teach them how to be a devotee, how to love God and become near and dear to him. And tell them how God loves his devotees and how he is a slave to their love and devotion.

-How to become a Bhakta: Constantly thinking about Bhagwan, singing his glories, chanting his name and seeing him in all activities that we do. Narada Muni asked Veda Vyasa to write about all this in Bhagavatam. Veda Vyasa became very happy after this.

We learnt our House Bhajan. "Bolo Bolo Saab mil Bolo".

We did marble meditation.

And we asked kids what their Dharma and they promised below things:

-Always to say the truth

-Respect Elders

-Eating healthy things and less junk items

-Less screen time.

Hope they kept their words.

Tomorrow, we have house inauguration. Our House is "Arjuna's arrow". Hope to see all kids in "Green Dress"

With Gurudev's Blessings
